Biodynamic wines are made using biodynamic methods to both grow the fruit and in the winery. Whilst some people find the practice somewhat controversial, having experienced Biodynamic wine growing first hand in several wineries around the world, I can honestly say the processes employed make perfect sense. It may be more time consuming and expensive in the short term but the long term benefactors can be numerous. Biodynamic wines by definition will also be Organic but they also must follow additional standards laid down by the Demeter Association.
