This beer, which was winning awards as long ago as 1898, is a delicately flavoured golden ale with delicate flavours and a background of fruity esters and fresh hops.
Samuel Smith's brewery at Tadcaster, founded in 1758, is the oldest in Yorkshire, and the last to use the Yorkshire squares fermentation technique, giving this beer its unique taste.
