From the Cerdeira family's original and oldest vines, of which 10% to 15% is barrel fermented for 9 months, and the wine kept on fine lees.
A mineral and expressive dry white of top drawer quality. Expected ripe fruit character with a hint of that oak, means a complex and persitent finish.
Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany seafood dishes, fish or poultry.
The grapes are produced with the concept of organic viticulture and harvest by hand from the old vines with more than 40 years at Quinta de Soalheiro, the First Vines “Primeiras Vinhas”. Currently in the blend also include a selection of Alvarinho grapes planted in Pé-franco.
On first tasting this wine my tasting note was simply "This wine made me smile!". You simply have to try it.
