Displaying many of the Hermitage Provenance characteristics, on the nose this cognac has an aroma of mocha with roasted nut, some spice and just a hint of pineapple. On the palate flavours of spice and coffee come through, with notes of pineapple in the background, flavours which have become more complex as the cognac has matured.
Aged for a minimum of 10 years, its maturation in Limousin oak barrels in fairly damp cellars, conditions which help to keep the spirit in contact with the natural tannins in the oak for longer, has added to the complexity of this relatively young cognac.
