Domaine de Villargeau Coteaux du Giennois Red

This red wine is made from Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes grown on the gentle slopes of their family's domaine, on the east of the Loire river.

One of the smallest of the central vineyard appellations, it shares many characteristics of its better known neighbours.

Wild Strawberries and blackcurrant on the nose with a peppery edge.  Ripe black and red fruits on the palate with a nice length on the finish.

Fruity and fresh, this wine makes an excellent accompaniment to charcuterie.
