Domaine Bousquet Gaia Cabernet Franc

Surprisingly soft and approachable, this wine bursts with a mixture of red and black fruits, tempered by notes of cola and tea leaf, and a gentle layer of barbecue smoke. The tannin here is soothing and already flattening out nicely, giving the wine an instant approachability — though it takes on a slightly meaty note as it warms and opens in the glass. Aged for 8-10 months in the finest French oak.
